The investment banker
"I should ask the Oxford dictionary to change the
definition of 'vouch for'. If
someone sends a random friend request to a friend of yours and you ask him
politely not to do so, then it's called vouching for your friend". Well I recently
joined Facebook and I am online all day long so I have nothing else to do
except writing on people's walls. There was this guy in my friend list who sent
a friend request to a girl from my friend list, so not only did I write on his
wall, I even went to his girlfriend and told her about it. It wasn't that big
of a deal actually, I mean all he did was send a friend request. But because
because 'I have nothing else to do' as the title of this blog states so I am
screwing up other people's happiness to pass my time.
Being on Facebook again brings back some old memories (I feel
nostalgic about them). I will be sharing one of the memories with you guys.
So I had two pairs, I could have won but then there was this lady
sitting on the other side of the poker table (not the computer generated dealer),
but an Indian lady. I had recently watched a video of a Enrique Iglesias in
which he was playing poker and another girl is on the table. So the Indian lady
left the room. So as Enrique did in the video, I did in the virtual world. I
folded and left after the girl (it was later that I figured out that the girl
had seen the cards of the guy sitting next to her, and
Enrique was losing so it was her indication). But whatever, you guys must have
figured it out by now that I like to be the hero wherever possible
So I got into talks with gitika (fictitious name) over the poker
table and added her on Facebook. She worked at the embassy, was 35 and single
(I was 20 back then). So obviously I couldn't tell her that I was 20, so I told
her that I was 25 and an investment banker in Greater Kailash (although there
is no investment bank in Greater Kailash). I met her the next week and went out
for drinks. The best thing about an older woman is that you don’t need the pep
talk before making out. You can come straight to the point. I made out with her
on the way back.
There are two things really good about a lady older to you. First,
you don't have to stay in touch after making out. And second, they have their
own place so you don't have to foot the bill for a hotel. So I called her up
after a month (when I had my next break up) and asked her to meet up.So we went
out in the evening and after that since there was no one at her place so we
spent the night at her place because I was tired,'had a meeting with some
investors in the morning' and needed some sleep (we did everything except
sleeping). Another good thing about older women is they know what they are
doing in bed.
Recently I called her up after almost a year and we met up, she
said she is getting married to her boyfriend from the UK by the end of the year
(this is what she has been saying for the past three years).
So she is the ideal rebound whenever I have a break up, no cling
on, no love so in ideal sense no strings attached.
I am meeting her next weekend so will update you guys then.Later
Sidhant
