Environmental concerns

I hope all of you are doing well, it’s been a long time. It is just that I was tied up with stuff (still somehow I always squeeze in the time to stalk girls). I had a lot happening, my final semester (hopefully), my sister’s marriage, my first international research paper getting published (I had a very petty role to play in that, I will come down to that some other time).

So I had mentioned of a café in the last blog post, well I brought such bad luck along with me when I joined it that it was shut down recently due to some legal issues. The owner shouldn’t have kept me after hearing about my accident. She should have interpreted the whole incident as my sheer bad luck instead of sympathizing with me. So I think that it is her fault, she shouldn’t have associated me with the café. She is starting it again in gurgaon and she will be quite successful because I am not involved this time.

Coming back to my rom com life (very little rom and a lot of com), I recently got in touch with a girl. It’s not that I get to know new girls every other day (subtle boasting), but this girl was a game changer.

It’s been almost a year that I have talked to a girl for so long. My philosophy is that I can do something much more constructive in the time I waste on talking to some random chick. It is like a cost incurred by me, opportunity cost.

This girl is quite intelligent, she succeeded in whatever she pursued in life, be it studies, or work, or even her extra curricular. She is one of those who have god gifted talent.

And don’t even get me started on her looks, she is breathtaking beautiful. I was left spellbound after having a look at her. She is the perfect combination of cute and hot.

We got talking and I told her that I don’t believe in relationships because most of them add badly. She asked me “What do you want to be in life?”. I said “I want to be a successful entrepreneur”. She said “To be a successful entrepreneur, you need to know the basic philosophy behind entrepreneurship”. I asked “Which is?”. She replied “ No entrepreneur actually knows whether he’ll be successful or not, he just gives his best in his journey. Same is the case with relationships, you don’t know the end result, you just have to give your best effort in the process”.

The kind of guy I am, this rarely happens but I was actually speechless. We continued talking and it wasn’t hard to figure out that she is quite intelligent.

After that, I saw a picture of her ex boyfriend and was mocking her for dating him because she is so out of his league. She is actually out of most of the guys league (including me probably).

This has never happened before but by the end of the conversation, I was begging her to talk for some more time.

We had planned to meet up the next day but then I get a text from her in the morning saying that she can’t stay in touch with me anymore.

Her place in the city is an hour away from my place. If tomorrow someone questions me about my environmental concerns, I cite this example saying that I didn’t pursue a perfect girl just because her place was an hour away from mine and I wanted to save fuel for the environment’s sake.

Also, if something would have happened, I don’t think that I am good at relationships (read long distance relationships).

Enough of lame excuses, truth be told, I got my ass kicked. It’s like a way of God saying that I am not to be with anyone.

So that is about it and to answer a question asked by someone in the survey, yes, that is the book about which I was talking about in the last survey. Answer to another one, bartender has already died once, he is not dying again in the near future.
