Reminiscent dusk or a new dawn

You know something is terribly wrong with your life, when you come back home after a week and the first thing you do is start off writing your next blog post. Some might say I am a lonely soul with no one in my life, others like Aristotle said,
'Whosoever is delighted in solitude is either a wild beast or a god.'
So choose who you want to believe, those 'some' or someone like Aristotle.
Anyway, where was I for a week?
After my accident (you can read more about it at http://ihavenothingelseto.blogspot.in/2015/04/statement-of-purpose-for-iim-bangalore.html) and three subsequent brain surgeries, I still had one brain surgery pending which I finally decided to go through before going for an MBA. My surgery was at AIIMS, and was a success. Thanks a lot for your wishes and god bless this country for being bestowed by remarkably competent surgeons at AIIMS.
Those of you who feel that your week has been very hellish so far, try getting 72 screws drilled in your skull and get so much titanium and PEEK (Poly Ester Ester Ketone), that they make 37% of the skull.
My head is completely stitched and has swollen up like a globe. Till yesterday, I had a blood pump coming out of my brain, to suck out the post surgery, residual blood,
I am just able to open my mouth just a little bit and am even not able to chew my food because mincing my teeth hurts. I can eat just a few morsels of food every time I try to eat.
I was on a drip till yesterday with syringes being injected in every couple of hours, and the primary reason behind my discharge today is that vein in my hand has swollen, otherwise I might have been kept for a day or two more. My hand is hurting so bad that I took me two hours to type the few lines I have written so far.
The pain was so excruciating that I was neither able no sleep nor stay awake. And I couldn't even yawn as my facial muscles ached. My right eyelid has swollen up and I wasn't even able to open my right eye, I couldn't even tell whether is a reminiscent dusk or a new dawn.
If you feel that I am fortunate in life and have things going my way, then just step in my shoes for a day.
On a lighter note, although I always aspired to be Iron Man, but I didn't literally mean it. Since I am moving to Ahmedabad in two weeks, so I inquired from one of my surgeons the time it would take for my complete recovery. He said'
"Don't worry, you will be completely fit and fine by the time you join IIM. For the time being, you can enroll with IIN."
The reply was so spontaneous and the tone so serious, that I kept laughing for the next five minutes. (Then came the injection time).
If you ask for preparations you should take a month before joining IIMA, the reply of seniors is very similar to the advice given to future militants before they go to boot camps.
"Spend time with all your near and dear ones, because you won't ever get time again."
A lot of seniors and alums even say that surviving the first year at IIMA is one of the hardest things to do.
Well, with my kind of past and the most recent surgery, all I can say is
"Looking forward"
