So my first year at IIM Ahmedabad recently came to an end. I left Ahmedabad with quite a heavy heart ( the reason isn't what it seems like, you will figure it out by the end of this post).
On a more serious note, am I nostalgic? Well, I would like to quote a 'fellow artist' here
For me as a solo artist, I never want to be a nostalgia act.

Since it has become kind of a ritual, a new blog post pre requisites my encounter with a new girl.I tend to base my blog posts on the aesthetic appeal of the girl (but I am a feminist at heart). I would like to take a different trajectory this time and focus more on the conversation. Although she has breathtakingly gorgeous, that is the least interesting thing about her.
She is studying law, which was quite evident from the fact that she tended to get her way in most of the negotiations we had like she made me travel over fifteen miles just for a coffee with her, and that is when I don't even drink coffee.
Once we were texting each other and I told her that I prefer to talk in person or over the phone as typing consumes way too much time. "And you would have started so many ventures if you hadn't been wasting your time typing," she mocked. But at the same time, she complimented me by telling me that she likes people stingy with their time. That is quite ironic as I have been running this blog, titled 'I have nothing else to do' for over three years now.
I was sitting in the coffee shop with her, with the perfect ambiance and soothing music, suddenly I urged her that we take a stroll outside. And it wasn't quite a scenic place, the shop was on a highway, it was past 8 in the evening, and there were cars honking all around. That could have been partly because I watched 'A walk to remember' the night before, and partially because I wanted to stand and talk (to flaunt my height).
Talking to her was a refreshing change, a detox for my months of grilling times at IIM.
I asked her to describe me in one word, I was hoping for 'hot,' or 'charismatic.' She said 'Kaizen,' which is a Japanese word for improvement, as in someone who is always seeking for improvement in oneself. I remarked that is not necessarily a good thing, as it means that I am not content with my life. She said, "I wasn't trying to flatter you."
Although we had decided that we weren't focussing this blog post on the aesthetics, but with her kind of looks, she didn't need to flatter any guy. Since she is a lawyer, so I will judge her on her looks.
She has the quintessential looks of the 'girl next door.' She is absolute, astoundedly cute and at the same time ravishingly hot.
Have I fallen for her? At the beginning of the post, I talked about my heavy heart. Well, I was meeting her on my last night in Ahmedabad, I flew to Delhi next morning, will be in Mumbai for two months. I will return to Ahmedabad in June, she is in her final year of law, would be gone by then, a thousand miles away, and I would never get to see her again.
