Part time womanizer

So, although I have been running this blog for quite some time now, typing (or texting) is my least favorite form of communication. I prefer in person conversations, as the emotions are conveyed a lot better. And on the phone, call! Texting is a sheer wastage of time.

If you have been reading this blog; let me make a couple of facts lucid. Firstly, I am not a mainstream romantic guy or maybe haven't found the 'one' yet. Secondly, even if you love the blog, you might not like me in person, a few narrations in the blog are fabricated, so please don't take this as a diary entry, it is a quasi-reality snippet, which is intended to leave a smile on your face. Thirdly, and most importantly, if you meet me, kindly don't come with a perception that I will be writing my next blog post on you that very night. You need to understand, that as every 'piece of art,' a blog post needs a lot of contemplation, and I don't write a blog post on every other girl I meet, I require some relevant substance and chemistry.

I will now tell you where this is coming from, today in the morning; an acquaintance texted me,
'I read your blog, found it quite intriguing, let's meet up.'
Now, although I had my schedule jam-packed for the day since she is a 'fan' (not the kind shown in movies these days), so I squeezed in time for her. Within the first half an hour of the date, she explicitly says to my face; she is not interested in me. I was shell shocked, totally taken aback, not because she hurt my high sense of self-obsession; that is still fine, but I had allocated three hours to her date, and then had another scheduled, I had kept both of them (this blog post isn't about any of them)  in less than ten meters walking distance, what was I supposed to do for the two and half hours of spare time?
The first thing I did after walking out of the bar, was open up 'book my show' application on my phone, only to realize that there is a blockbuster Hindi movie on, and no other movie is (allowed to) running on any of the screens. Out of sheer boredom, as I realized that 'I have nothing else to do,' I contemplated this blog post.

Coming to the muse of this blog post, ironically, similar to one in the last blog post, even she is a law student, but starkly different from her. The reason why this blog post is about her is major that of the fact that she came up with my one line introduction; 'Full-time workaholic, part-time womanizer.'
She is interning with a legal center which works for women's rights. I fell in love with her name as soon as I heard it. The best part about her is that she gets my weird sense of humor, there was a point in time in the conversation where she was completing my jokes.
She is a total romantic at heart and believes in happy endings (pun unintended).
She read the past fifty posts of this blog and knew incidents about my life which even I don't remember. Although she loved it, she questioned the whole premise of the blog, and the reason I run it. I had no answer. She then asked me
'If I was given a chance to be with one girl from all my blog posts, who would that be?'
Again, I had no answer. No doubt, she is practicing criminal law. She feels that I am bipolar (if only I knew what it meant).

While conversing, we got out the bar, and were walking on the roadside, the weather in Mumbai, late in the evening is quite pleasant, talking to her it felt as if I had known her forever. And this feeling wasn't just from my end. She said that she hadn't met anyone as interesting as me in a long time, and I can figure out genuine emotions.

At the end of the night, I gave her two options.
Either we stay in touch for two months, spend time together and see where it goes.
Or, we cut all forms of contact, and I write a blog post about us.

Later
Sidhant
